After 5 wonderful years of living in Marietta, Georgia, it was time to pack up and say goodbye to some dear friends and family, and start the next chapter of our lives. My mom flew out 2 weeks before the
grad and cleaned like I've never seen anyone clean before! She was
also a big hit with the kids, and spent many many hours with them while Erik and I got some packing/cleaning done. Erik's mom also flew out 5 days before grad and my dad came 2 days before. They were also so very helpful! Thank you to everyone who helped us out during the last few weeks! We couldn't have done it without your help!
It was a very bittersweet last few days... We will miss our great friends we've made more than they will ever know. They have enriched our lives and we feel so blessed to have them in our lives. We also feel so grateful for our wonderful neighbors. It was so nice to feel so welcome in our community and to have met such beautiful people! As it was so sad to say goodbye, it's also very exciting to be heading home, close to family, and to start on some new adventures up north.
