The sun decided to shine once again after so many grey and rainy days. We took advantage of the beautiful sunshine and headed west to the mountains. We drove to Canmore (1 hr 20 min away) and hiked up to Grassi Lakes once again. When we'd done this hike with our Winnipeg cousins a few months ago, we took the 'easier' trail up and down. This time, we thought we'd try the 'most difficult' way up- and the kids did great! The trail up offered some most spectacular views of the valley below, the surrounding mountains and the cute little town of Canmore. We love this trail!
