Last weekend, we had a special 'date day' with the kids. Olivier had been asking Erik to hike up Nihahi Ridge, one of the big mountains nearby, for quite some time, so that's just what they did. They hiked to the very top! It took them 6 hours (return trip) and they had a wonderful time! The hike is quite difficult- we're so proud of our little 5 year old mountain goat!! At the very top of the mountain, something very special happened... (you'll have to scroll down to see the photo:)
While the big boys were hiking, Chloé, Téo and I spent several hours at The Saskatoon Farm, just outside Calgary. We spent the first hour picking saskatoon berries, then had a lovely lunch in the cute little rustic but oh-so-yummy restaurant. We finished our day by walking all around the beautiful flowers in the nursery and greenhouses, and around the little gardens on the property.
What a wonderful day for us all!

| This is what happened at the top of Nihahi Ridge- Olivier lost his first tooth!!! What a memorable day! |
 |
| I used some of the saskatoons to make a most delicious pie... topped off with some homemade vanilla ice cream... |

| Can't you just smell the yumminess?!?! |
