Camping Part 3- The Enchanted Forest

And on our last day, we spent 5 hours at this very magical Enchanted Forest just outside of Revelstoke, BC.  Well worth the short detour!  Nestled in an (800 year old) old growth cedar forest, there are trails, castles, hundreds of fairy tale figurines and just plain magic everywhere!  What started as a woman's hobby (making these cement figurines) back in the 1950's has turned into this beautiful attraction for all to see.  It's kind of like a smaller version of Disney World, without the crowds.  Highly recommended if you're in the area!

Just before entering the Enchanted Forest

1st Little Pig's house

3rd Little Pig's house

"There was an old woman who lived in a shoe..." (the slide in 2 photos above is on the other side of this big shoe)

A little row boat ride in the Enchanted Pond...

About to enter Grandma's house from Little Red Riding Hood

Téo just liked kissing all the figurines:)

Téo says 'Just my size!'

Tallest treehouse in the world!

Goldilocks asleep in Baby Bear's bed

All in all, it was a fantastic little holiday!  We just love BC...
