On of the biggest reasons we love living here is the access to "the ridge". Our subdivision is built on top of this ridge overlooking the Bow River, forests, trails and of course, the mountains in the distance. There are paved trails all along the top of the ridge, or there is another (steep!) trail that goes down the ridge which connects to the 600km+ of bike trail networks throughout the city- amazing! From our front door, we can bike for hours on end, on smooth paved trails, winding through the forest or along the river, without ever crossing a single road! What a treat!
