This year, since we will be home for Christmas (for the first time in 5 years!), we decided to make an advent calendar. The kids worked really hard decorating every envelope and had a great time putting the whole thing together. In every envelope I have written a little message- either a craft to make for that day, or an activity we will do as a family. O and C get so excited in the morning- O circles the date on the 'real' calendar, then finds the envelope with the right date and I read the note inside. We are having so much fun with it!
